General tips
get him an overdose of stamina. it's better than boosting your SDI to get good holds

pair up with a good resist.. if you can hoard the tags, it's so much better.

get only in the 1200FE tourneys..the revenue is so much better(assuming you win at least two matches of course.)

Max mastery and block until you get Sharpshooter- 65

Then Mastery/Sub bonus until you get Ankle Lock-80

this should unlock Vertabreaker also Mastery/Block-75

Then Mastery/Escape subs for Full Nelson-72

Str-Max Rage, Rest in Might

Speed- Max Lightness, rest in headstart

Res- Max Tireless, rest in Thick Skin

Two Finishers- Sub groggy Finisher- 496 Adr cost, 20 Atk bonus, 10 Sub bonus, rest in dmg

BWR finisher- 400-450 cost 20 Atk bonus, 1 bleed% rest in dmg ( I like to keep the max-min dmg the same)
1 Taunt- 5 sec

I got this info from a mod how to build a tech does it look like it should work?

unlocking the vertabreaker is always the easiest way out since you'll have to rely on block for your defense..nothing else..

i got an issue with speed and res. i think urge and paci are really helpful.

sub groggy finisher? for 496 adre?! you're gonna wait a loooong time for that to look good.

and i'm not suggesting BWR finishers at all. they pop up too rarely. you'll be feeling like a resist who's praying that his finisher will come out against a tech.

try to keep a max of 3 moves if you have a TM or finisher in that position. and also, try to mix up your moves. for example, my groggy set consists of MGS, full nelson and fisherman ddt. it's either i deal HUGE dmg, make him bleed or injure him.

i am also against BWR fin
groggy and grounded are the best on the long run ... while stunned one (or BWR, for that matter) will give you better initial dmg, it will level much slower and soon, the weaker grounded and groggy ones will overtake it

my groggy fin with 70-220 dmg was twice as strong as my stunned fin with dmg 80-260 ... and i created both of them at the same time

btw, prioritize might over rage.. look at this scenario.. you create finishers with just enough cost for your AG.. then you increase rage..sure the finishers would hit faster..then you'll increase it some more..then what? you'll just recreate your finisher.. then the cycle repeats itself.. it's just a waste.. and as a tech, you won't rely too heavily on finishers just to win anyway.. look at me..less than 200dmg sub fin and less than 400 dmg pin fin, yet i'm still fine.

as for stunned levelling slower, i'd say it'll all depend on how you set them up.. i have stunned set to always and a groggy set to yellow or red(damn i can't remember =P)..

Of course if you set groggy to yellow or orange or red it would level slower than stunned, but groggy on always will level much faster that stunned on always ... Belive me, i tried.
But why would you set it thus? It seems rather pointless to have a fin in a position that normally levels faster and then slow it`s leveling through artificial means only so the one in normally slower leveling position would level faster...

why? ok, let's state the facts first.. a sub fin should be in a cheap position so you could start with good numbers.. that's why i have it on stunned.. then i need it to lvl up so it can help out better.. then, subs are so much better used in the beginning and at the middle of the match.. in singles, it's my only way to chop off some nasty DR.. in tags, the other team's partner outside would interfere when you do sub holds late in the match.

and yeah i know that when both set to always, stunned will fall way back on executions.. that's why you have to tweak the groggy into something like blue and below.. so that they'll be somewhat even on chances to execute..

i understand your logic, but wouldn`t it be better to sacrifice some finisher efficiency at the start in exchange for a stronger finisher that hits more ofter later?

yeah but i'm a bit beyond that point.. my pin fin is working well enough so i figured "hey let it take the backseat for a while so i can make my sub fin better".. that's it for me anyway..

so maybe play a mixed strategy go stunned first for damage purposes and get some lvlings, once you have lvled enough to get decent dmg on a grounded one as well, switch
